Eyelid surgery for men
Chirurgia pleoapelor la bărbați (blefaroplastia) este intervenția ce îndepărtează excesul de piele și grăsime din jurul ochilor, adesea extinzând câmpul vizual lateral. Se realizează în sala de operații, în spitalizare de zi, cu reluarea interacțiunilor sociale după opt-zece zile. Rezultatul final poate fi evaluat la trei-nouă luni postoperator.
Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty is an operation that consists of removing excess skin and fat from around the eyes, often resulting in extension of the lateral visual field.
The intervention is performed in the operating room, as day surgery. The patient can resume social interactions after eight to ten days, and the final result can be evaluated at three to nine months postoperatively.
Despite a normal, balanced life, some men have a tired appearance and a heavy, sad gaze. The lower eyelids may present bags or fat deposits, and the upper eyelids may be heavy due to excess skin or orbicular muscle.
To achieve a more youthful appearance and to regain the shape of their eyes, the patient will need lower or upper blepharoplasty. A balanced eyelid integrates naturally into the upper third of the face, and eyelid correction must be viewed in this context.
People form an impression of their interlocutor by evaluating the face and gaze. Sometimes, drooping, heavy eyelids can create a wrong impression about their state of health. Blepharoplasty has the advantage of creating an immediate rejuvenating effect. The intervention is short and satisfaction is almost immediate.
